Travel Expedition

At Travel Expedition , we are committed to providing unforgettable experiences based on principles of safety, responsibility, and sustainability. Below are our general policies:

1. Right of Remaining

The agency and service providers reserve the right to expel a user when their behavior, deemed reprehensible under disciplinary and/or criminal law, disrupts the normal operation of the service and causes disturbance to third parties. Behavior is considered reprehensible when it violates morality, public order, and good customs. The user shall bear all expenses incurred as a result of their exclusion from the program and shall be solely and exclusively responsible for any claims for compensation and/or damages made by affected third parties, including the service provider, holding the agency and service providers harmless in this regard.

 

2. Exemption from Liability

TRAVEL EXPEDITION and its operators do not assume responsibility for events of Fortuitous Event, Force Majeure, or Acts of a Third Party, such as accidents, strikes, riots, earthquakes, climatic or natural phenomena, security conditions, political factors, traveler withdrawal due to conduct that threatens the completion of the trip, denial of entry permits, decision by the destination country to prevent the traveler's entry or movement, death, health issues, acts of third parties, and any other event beyond the agency's control that could affect the execution or continuity of the trip; in such events, refunds will be made in accordance with the law and the policies imposed by each service provider as applicable.

 

TRAVEL EXPEDITION is not responsible for any personal expenses or costs incurred by the user beyond the specific plan, nor does it assume responsibility for any damages or losses caused to the user by their own incompetence, negligence, or fault. However, TRAVEL EXPEDITION reserves the right to modify any pre-established itinerary or suspend services, according to the user's needs, without any right to a refund.

 

3. Custody of Personal Property

The responsibility for the care and safekeeping of personal belongings rests solely with the user, unless these items have been entrusted to the service provider for safekeeping. If the user carries valuables, they must inform the service provider directly so that all necessary precautions can be taken to protect them; otherwise, the user will be solely responsible for any loss or damage to these items without the possibility of claiming compensation or damages.

4. Commitment Against Child Exploitation and Sexual Tourism

In accordance with Law 679 of August 3, 2001 issued by the Congress of the Republic, which establishes provisions to prevent and counteract exploitation, pornography and sexual tourism with minors.

In accordance with the provisions of said Law, all persons must prevent, block, combat and report the exploitation, hosting, use, publication, dissemination of images, texts, documents, audiovisual files, misuse of global information networks, or the establishment of telematic links of any kind related to pornographic material or alluding to sexual activities of minors.

In accordance with Article 17 of Law 679 of 2001, the agency advises tourists that the exploitation and sexual abuse of minors in the country are punishable under criminal and administrative law. Furthermore, in compliance with Resolution 3840 of December 24, 2009, and Article 1 of Law 1336 of July 21, 2009, TRAVEL EXPEDITION has adopted a Code of Conduct to prevent and deter the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in the tourism sector.

Therefore, the user understands and declines any activity, action or omission that is aimed at developing sexual activities against minors and undertakes to immediately report any suspicion to the competent authorities.
